Referencing

Referencing is a way of acknowledging the works of other scholars.

Referencing allows your readers to:

  • understand where your argument or opinion fits into the broader academic discussion
  • see that you are writing from an informed position with evidence and support for your claims
  • search for the source themselves if they wish to pursue that idea further.
